1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to FiscalForge LLC (“FiscalForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a CPA-owned, Arizona-licensed accounting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It covers information we collect through this website, through our booking form, and through the phone, email, and text message channels we use to communicate with prospective and current clients.

By using this site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information through it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you selected, your requested date and time, and any notes you choose to add. If you call, email, or text us, we receive whatever information you include in that message. If you become a client, we also receive the tax, payroll, and financial records you provide so we can do the work you hired us to do.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use first-party, cookieless analytics to understand page traffic and site performance. Any tool that sets cookies or sends your visit to a third party, including Google Analytics and any advertising tag, runs only if you allow it, and never before you choose. See Cookies, analytics, and your choices.

What we do not collect here. This website is not a document portal. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full account numbers, or tax documents through the booking form, by email, or by text. We will direct you to a secure method for exchanging sensitive records.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your questions and schedule, confirm, reschedule, or remind you about consultations.
  • Deliver the services you engage us for, including tax preparation, tax representation, bookkeeping, and payroll.
  • Request or return documents and follow up on items needed to complete your work.
  • Send service-related updates such as filing deadlines, notice responses, and status changes.
  • Meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations as a CPA firm and tax return preparer.
  • Maintain the security of our systems and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Improve the clarity, accessibility, and performance of this website.

We do not sell or rent your information, and the details you give us, your name, email, phone number, notes, and any records you send us as a client, are never uploaded to an advertising platform or used to target ads to you. See How we share information for the limited cases where information is disclosed, and Cookies, analytics, and your choices for how website measurement tools work and how to turn them off.

4. Text messaging (SMS/MMS) terms

FiscalForge LLC may communicate with you by text message (SMS/MMS) about your consultation, your documents, and your engagement with our firm. This section explains how that program works, how to opt in and out, and how your mobile information is handled.

Mobile information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our messaging platform or customer support tools, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you asked for. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent and opt-in

You opt in to receive text messages from FiscalForge LLC when you provide your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, for example by checking the text message consent box on our booking form, by giving us your number and permission in writing or verbally during a call, or by texting us first. The consent box is unchecked by default and you can book a consultation without checking it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may decline text messages and still work with our firm by phone and email.

Types of messages you may receive

  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices.
  • Requests for documents or information needed to complete your return, books, or payroll.
  • Reminders about filing deadlines, payment due dates, and IRS or Arizona Department of Revenue correspondence.
  • Direct replies to questions you send us.
  • Occasional service updates related to your engagement with our firm.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with our firm. Messages are conversational and transactional rather than bulk marketing blasts. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by calling us at 480-331-7805 or emailing contact@fiscalforge.net. Opting out of texts does not remove you as a client and does not stop necessary phone or email communication about your engagement.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at 480-331-7805 or contact@fiscalforge.net.

Delivery and carrier notice

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not a secure channel: please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or images of tax documents by text. If we need sensitive records, we will direct you to a secure method.

5. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We disclose information only in these limited circumstances. This section covers the information you give us; website measurement and advertising tools are covered separately under Cookies, analytics, and your choices, and none of them run without your permission.

  • Service providers. Vendors that operate our website, email delivery, scheduling, secure document exchange, and messaging tools may process information on our behalf. They are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
  • With your authorization. We share information when you direct us to, for example when filing on your behalf with the IRS or the Arizona Department of Revenue, or when you ask us to send records to a lender or another advisor.
  • Legal and professional requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or as part of a professional licensing or peer review obligation.
  • Protecting our firm and clients. We may disclose information where necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect our rights, or prevent harm.

Tax return information. As a tax return preparer, we are also subject to Internal Revenue Code section 7216. We will not disclose or use your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing or assisting in preparing your return without your prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

Mobile opt-in data is excluded from all sharing. As described in Text messaging (SMS/MMS) terms, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you requested.

6. Cookies, analytics, and your choices

We split the tools on this site into two groups, and the line between them is simple: anything that sets a cookie or sends your visit to another company is off until you turn it on.

Always active, and cookieless

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. These are first-party and cookieless: they set no cookie, store no persistent identifier on your device, build no profile of you, and share nothing with an advertising network. They cannot follow you to other websites. Because they carry none of those risks, they run without a consent prompt, and we disclose them here and in the preferences panel rather than burying them.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. That is a normal function of serving a website, not tracking.

Off until you allow it

Everything below loads only after you affirmatively choose to allow it:

  • Google Analytics. Helps us see which pages people find useful. It is a third-party service: it sets cookies in your browser and sends your visit data to Google.
  • Advertising and conversion tags. If we run ads, tags such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel let us measure which ads bring people here. These can also be used for retargeting.

These are not merely switched off, they are not loaded. Until you allow a category, the corresponding script is never placed on the page at all, so nothing is sent to those companies. Declining is the default, and doing nothing counts as declining.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Select Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page to review or change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: when you turn a category off, we delete the cookies those tools set and reload the page so the scripts are not loaded again.

Your preference is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device, not in a cookie and not on our servers. Clearing your browser data will clear it, and we will ask again.

We keep a record of consent decisions. When you make a choice here, or opt in to text messages on the booking form, we record the date and time, your IP address and browser, and the exact wording you were shown. We keep this so we can demonstrate what you were asked and what you answered. It is used for that purpose and not for marketing or profiling.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. Declining everything on this site will not prevent you from reading any page or booking a consultation, and nothing on this site is withheld based on your choice.

7. How we protect your information

We use secure cloud platforms and workflows designed to protect sensitive financial information, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls limited to personnel who need the information, and secure tools for collecting and storing client records.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Email and text message in particular are not secure channels, which is why we ask you to use the secure method we provide for sensitive documents.

8. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and consultation information only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the engagement. Client records are retained for the periods required by tax law, professional standards, and our record-retention policy, then securely disposed of. Mobile opt-in and opt-out records are retained as long as needed to honor your messaging preferences and to document consent.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance.
  • Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-essential email, or ask us to remove you. Transactional messages about an active engagement may continue.
  • Phone. Tell us your preferred contact method and we will use it.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some records must be retained under tax law and professional standards, and we will tell you when that applies.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Contact us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to how we handle mobile information or text messaging will be reflected here before they take effect.
